Great place to stay in middle of Bridgnorth. Lovely room, a little bit cosy but nicely furnished, well maintained, good facilities and a great bathroom. Breakfast was excellent. No parking on site but large public car park only about 200m away. Watch out for the one way system, if you miss your turn it's a long way round again.
The bar is welcoming but a bit boisterous on a Friday and Saturday night. The staff are super friendly and work their socks off - especially the cleaner / hostess / bar person who are all one person.
Given that the location has it's limitations in a densely packed historical town centre then it is as good as it can be.

Nice little pub with friendly staff and customers, great location.
No restaurant, simple food served from a hatch. Not what we expected as the search was for places with a restaurant, but perhaps an issue with Booking.com and not the location. First room was not as booked, so we had to move. But staff were very helpful and moved us quickly to a nice and cheaper room.

Comfortable room (excellent bed!)
Very good breakfast.
Helpful polite staff.
Car park close by.
Noisy bar on arrival, very difficult to register.
The web site said that the restaurant would be open when we arrival but it wasn;t, we had to eat elsewhere which spoiled our plans.
Very steep stairs up to the room, it was OK as despite being in our 70s we are quite fit but others may struggle. Perhaps a question on the booking form about mobility would be appropriate.

The beer
Tiny room
It was the start of the heatwave, my room was cramped, no fan available. The kitchen was closed due to the heat causing the fire alarm to go off.

"A friendly place the staff were very helpful, the pub was exceptionally busy the time we were there, but that was to be expected as they had live entertainment.
A great selection of beers and Gin as ..."
