This place is a scam run by a dishonest host who takes your money and disappears.

Absolutely nothing. I never even got to stay because the host told me to cancel after demanding extra money on the day of check-in.

I booked a family room for 5 people expecting a private bathroom, but after booking I found out the rooms don't have bathrooms — you have to share with strangers who live in the same flat, which is not made clear in the listing. The host then asked me to pay an extra £100 for a private bathroom, which I agreed to and paid. On the day of check-in, 23 May, I called him to confirm and he suddenly wasn't sure about the room anymore and demanded another £100 on top of what I had already paid, this time for a completely different arrangement that wasn't what we agreed to. When I asked him why he kept changing the terms, he became very rude and told me if I want to cancel then cancel, he doesn't need me to stay, and that I should request a refund and I would get my money back. I followed his instructions and requested the refund. Since then he has completely disappeared — he ignored all of my calls, so I had someone else call from a different number and he picked up straight away but pretended he didn't know anything about our booking. He has now blocked both of our numbers and is still holding onto my money with no intention of refunding me. To make things worse, when I raised this with Booking.com, the host lied and told them he was waiting for us until midnight and that we didn't comply with check-in terms. That is completely false — he is the one who told us not to come and to cancel. He also claimed the booking was non-refundable, even though he is the one who told me to request a refund and said I would get my money back. This man will take your money, change the terms on you last minute, tell you to cancel, and then lie to the platform to keep your money. If you don't believe me, feel free to reach out and I will gladly provide the screenshots and voice recordings that prove everything I've said. This man should not be hosting anyone.

Modern, beautiful uncluttered furnishing and an outstanding host, Nur Muhammad-Khan who was so professional, efficient kind and helpful. I’m recovering from a fractured leg and he made sure I could order food, from the excellent restaurants in the area, order Ubers and did all he could to help. His staff were kind and helpful too. I looked at other flats in the building and they are all beautiful, some with magnificent kitchens too.
