This hotel was quite the surprise 😮. First my husband is not big on hotels but he was very much in love with all the technological features that this hotel provided and he was very impressed (he is very hard to impress). From the secure elevator that needs your room key in order for it go tour floor, the stair cases to the floor are also blocked if you do not have a room key. The rooms has controls on the outside so that from your room you can put your do not disturb sign on or if you need the room serviced. He loved the bathroom mirror that had the defog and light built in. The techy in him was very happy about this space.
The hotel offers self laundry service for a better price than the outside laundry mats so I was able to get laundry done after a week in Edinburgh without leaving the hotel which was very helpful after a long day of travel.
For me the location was superb. The main walking street to food and especially the biggest WATERSTONE was only 3 minutes, also a bank close by and the train and bus station was only a 8 minute walk. There is an amazing Italian restaurant next door, make a reservation to go but 100% recommend it was fantastic.
The staff on-site was simply amazing and I thank them tremendously for their advise and support. They were attentive and always ready to help. They are 1 of a kind gems and I appreciate all they do
