Great location, very peaceful.
Clean rooms but timing of servicing rooms was very random and often needed reminding it hadn't been done.
Good breakfast selection.
Reception staff not friendly.
Property is a beautiful restored hotel building but lacked life and heart.
I feel it has many big corporate functions and perhaps is aimed at that clientele?
Bar was so quiet and needed some music and vibes happening.
So quiet during the week. It seemed we were the only guests.
On check out Reception staff made no comment about whether we enjoyed our stay etc.

"Melaka's main attractions were close by"..very easy to access by car..
"There is no lift here. Even though it’s only a two-floor hotel, climbing the stairs was very challenging for my elderly mother. Housekeeping also failed to replenish our bottled water on days two and three, though they finally gave us three bottles on our last night."
