Our cozy, family-friendly vacation home in Altenberg (Zinnwald-Georgenfeld district) offers exclusive accommodations for up to 6 people and features 2 separate bedrooms. This historic miner’s house, built in 1732 and designated a historic landmark, offers 120 square meters of living space and is the perfect retreat for the whole family or a group in the Eastern Ore Mountains. Here, you can truly unwind, enjoy the peace and quiet, and soak in the cozy atmosphere created by the warm Swiss stone pine interior.

Enjoy time together in the cozy Swiss stone pine lounge by the stove bench, relax in the infrared sauna, or explore the surrounding area while hiking, downhill skiing, or cross-country skiing. Outdoor pools, mining museums, castle tours, or trips to Dresden and Prague offer plenty of variety. Whether you’re traveling with family, in a group, or on your own, the many amenities offer something for everyone.
Relax on the terrace or in the garden with its babbling brook and round off the day with a barbecue together. For children, a crib, a high chair, toys, and plenty of space to play are available. You can conveniently park your car in the parking lot, and there’s an EV charging station for electric cars.

The Zirbenliebe vacation home in the Eastern Ore Mountains is not only a place of relaxation but also a space full of adventures for explorers of all ages. 



Vacation home:

The house features two spacious Swiss stone pine bedrooms with TVs, blackout curtains, and fly screens. One bedroom also has a large balcony. The second bedroom can be used as a family room. The cozy Swiss stone pine living room with a stove and a long stove bench is a wonderful place to relax, and a small collection of games ensures there’s never a dull moment. The fully equipped kitchen offers everything a foodie could want and invites you to cook together. The large bathroom on the first floor, with a walk-in shower and shower stool, offers plenty of space and comfort, while the infrared sauna provides soothing relaxation. Underfloor heating throughout the house provides pleasant warmth year-round and creates a cozy atmosphere. The large meadow behind the house, with a small stream and a seating rock, invites you to linger or play. A large grill allows our guests to enjoy a delicious dinner under the covered patio.



On-site fees: Check-in is available from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Check-out is between 7:00 AM and 10:00 AM. Other check-in and check-out times are possible upon request. Please contact us in advance to arrange this if necessary. Keys will be handed over in person on site. A crib or rollaway bed can be provided upon request for a fee of 20.00 euros per stay. Pets are not allowed. The visitor’s tax is calculated on site and must be paid in cash. The current guest tax ordinance of the city of Altenberg applies. (Currently: 2.10 euros per night per adult or 1.60 euros per night per child aged 6–17) Upon arrival, a security deposit of 200 euros must be paid in cash. This will be refunded after departure, provided no defects or damage have been found.



Check-in is from 3:00 to 19:00, and check-out is from 07:00 to 10:00.
