A very disappointing stay in a poorly maintained flat that needs repairs and better cleaning

Location, close to the underground

The flat was very disappointing and badly needed maintenance. The entrance area and communal hallway were dirty when we arrived, and there was an unpleasant smell inside the flat, like damp or dirty carpet. Although some surfaces appeared clean, the overall condition made it uncomfortable to stay there. The bedroom door handle came off when opening the door from inside, and the door itself was badly split around the lock, as shown in the photos. The bathroom basin tap was loose and moved whenever we used it, and there were no hooks for hanging towels. The wardrobe was worn, and the upholstered bed base had very noticeable stains. The oven seal was hanging loose inside the oven. We had planned to cook pizza but decided against using it because of its condition; we did not test whether it worked. The freezer had a heavy build-up of ice with visible debris, and there were not enough drinking glasses for four guests. The cutlery also looked old and worn. We paid nearly £600 for a three-day stay. I did not expect luxury, but I did expect a properly maintained apartment with adequate basic equipment. We were travelling with friends visiting from Vietnam, and I felt embarrassed to have booked somewhere in this condition. They were disappointed too. I would not book this flat again or recommend it in its current state.

Perfect if you just need a bed to stay in

Perfect location in central London. The beds were clean but the mattresses were very springy. One of the rooms had aircon in which we appreciated due to the heat.

Apart from the bedrooms the rest of the place was not the cleanest. The door to the double bedroom had its handle falling off the hinges so we could not properly close the door. One of the bed frames had mould on the bottom and overall there was a smell of mould in the apartment. The tap in the bathroom was also not secured properly. The couch is also in need of a deep clean. However I will say this place is very good value for money. My group just needed a bed to sleep in and this was perfect for that.

gute Lage U-Bahn-Station in der Nähe Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis Schlüsselübergabe sehr einfach 3 Personen konnten in der Wohnung in 3 verschiedenen Räumen schlafen (2 Schlafzimmer, 1 Schlafcouch in der Wohnküche)

Unterkunft wirkte auf den Fotos ganz anders als sie in Wirklichkeit war (größer, gepflegter) Herd funktionierte nicht Toaster funktionierte nicht Sauberkeit ließ etwas zu wünschen übrig
