We received such a warm welcome at The Boars Head. It felt like everything in the room was really high spec. Loved that we had a stocked fridge (you had to pay for most items, though!) with free milk and a free dram each, too! A espresso machine with good choice of coffees and tea bags. The decor was beautiful, the shower was powerful. The toiletries smelt wonderful - always good to get conditioner supplied, too - A marker of a good quality hotel, in my opinion! We had dinner here and it was delicious. The serving staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast the next day was possibly the best hotel breakfast I’ve had - veggie haggis, fried eggs and sourdough. It was the perfect amount and all homemade. We’ll be back.

We had a really enjoyable stay at the Boar’s Head. Our room was lovely - nicely appointed, clean and comfortable.
All the staff that we met were friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was tasty - interesting choices.
