Just a overnight stay as our flights were late and needed to get our heads down as our main accomodation was opposite side of Madeira. Pleasant enough stay
Very clean with basic amenities. Staff where quiet and not a happy bunch. Breakfast was basic but did the job of filling the belly up.

Excellent breakfast served in the dining area which has a magnificent view of the ocean and airport where you see planes taking off and taxing after landing. Nice clean rooms. Very easy check in - information about check in is sent prior to arrival. Very close to the airport. If you are renting a car you can use this as a base for your entire Madeira trip, which I did not.
Only reason why I am giving 9 stars instead of 10 is I didn’t get a room with a view of the ocean and airport even though in the confirmation it is indicated as having a sea view.

The view from the terrace where we had breakfast was great. Also, the self check-in was easy and convenient.
The location is close to the airport but if it is your first time in Madeira (it was mine), you don’t want to stay there. There is nowhere to park and the roads up are very twisty.
