I specifically chose this location for the final day and night of our stay in Madeira. I wanted small town feel and being a bit of an aviation anorak sought out a location very close to the legendary airport approach over the bay. I was not disappointed as the residencia sat right amongst local bars, cafes and restaurants just a few meters walk away from seafront which was delightful and included a small free public swimming pool with facilities. Arrived 4 hours early but greeted with welcoming smiles and told 'leave your bags here, a room will be ready in an hour'. Cosy room, no frills but none expected it ticked our boxes. Ventilated mattress meant I got the coolest nights sleep of my longer visit to the island. Prior to departure our bags placed in a secure room on checking out leaving us free to wander more and soak up the last few rays of sunshine before jumping in a taxi for a short drive to the airport , as planned
I really need coffee and a banana first thing in the morning, That facility in the room would have been a bonus but hey, plenty being served in the very local cafes, restaurants metres away, so get dressed and up n at em :-)

Great location near the sea and within a lovely quiet town. Beds were comfy and had a cute view of the street from the balcony. We were able to store our bags in a safe area prior to check-in too!
Soap dispenser needed fixing but wasn’t bothered as only stayed for a night. The fan seemed to take a while to start but once on was fine. Tea and coffee facilities could also be added for an extra touch.

Located close to the beach and nice restaurants. We stayed here for one night at the end of our trip around Madeira as it was around a 10 minute transfer to the airport so I would recommend if you have an early flight.
The room was very basic, no air conditioning, no toiletries provided and it would be if it from a deep clean.
