The location was perfect for us to visit the places we wanted to see in the New Forest.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and a pleasure to spend time with.
The breakfast offered was continental or cereal and toast. We had the continental and found it was delicious.
The room we had was very comfortable and perfect for us with our Labrador dog to stay in - there was a small garden accessed through the patio doors which was perfect.
The whole place was very clean and tidy, and quiet and comfortable - it was a lovely place to stay and we would definitely stay there again.
The carpark was a little small, but we had no problem parking.

Good: the bed was king sized and exceptionally comfortable - top priority for us. Room was very well equipped and appointed, and very clean. Free reliable WiFi. The facility is quiet and peaceful, with well maintained garden through the room's French doors. Located in the centre of Fordingbridge. Free hot drinks machines, serving a good variety of very good quality beverages. The continental breakfast is more than adequate in quantity and quality, The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Free parking on site, but a spaces limited.
Not so good: there are hardly any staff, no reception, not manned overnight. We stayed two nights, and noticed that that the breakfast, while offering plenty of choice, never changes. A bit of variety or originality would be welcome. The bar is not in use.

The staff were so friendly and welcoming and helpful with advice on the local area. They were great with our dog and made a fuss of her too. The room was really clean and comfortable and it felt very homely. Having the beautiful garden just off your room was perfect. The continental breakfast was lovely every morning.
The military decor in the communal areaa might not be to everyone's taste
