Location was perfect for us. In the core of Galway right next to bus station and night life. We don’t have a vehicle, so location was important to us. The room and bathroom were both spotless and modern. Everything worked. The shared kitchenette area was useful for storing larger beverage bottles. The Jungle Cafe next door was handy for coffee and breakfast.
The room was a little small, but not too bad. We had large backpacks and it was a tight squeeze but we made it work.

Clean and comfortable room, VERY well finished incl. bathroom! Prime location for downtown Galway. Directions help over phone and WhatsApp (once I got through) was helpful. Adjacent car park was very helpful to have, and instructions to negotiate the various entries / codes etc. were clear and helpful. The one Staff lady we did run into in the morning was lovely - ever so kind and helpful!
Not a dislike - just different from what I'm used to - there is NO front desk. You can call and get support from a central help desk who apparently manage 3 properties - it's very much self-service - so you HAVE to read the instructions / emails carefully - especially as you will never seen the property name from the road, but the system actually works well once you know how and assuming nothing goes wrong :-) Obviously the self-service element has limitations, such as not being able to ask front-desk for local recommendations. Rooms were smaller than other city hotels on our trip as well, but that's understandable given the location and property type, and they were perfectly adequate.

Location was great. Close to town and easy walking distance. The room was adequate for a budget hotel. Nice shower with good water pressure.
Bring headphones. The walls (and ceiling) are paper thin.
You could hear whenever someone would shower or walk around in the room upstairs, conversations from the room next door, the tv down the hall, as well as any time someone used the front door or the stairs (which was obviously often).
Also, the air con unit buzzes loudly a few times every hour (randomly) regardless of whether it’s on or not.
I’m surprised more reviews didn’t mention this noise because it was LOUD. A general level of noise is expected in a budget hotel, but this was a lot. Maybe we got the dud room on the bottom level right next to the stairs?

The room was small and storage was limited (there was no place to put your clothes ) if staying for more than one night
