Our tween boys said this was their favorite place they have stayed on this trip. We enjoyed the canoe, kayaks and paddle boards available for personal use on the lake. We attempted tennis, but learned we are not a tennis family. There was basketball available too and a trampoline. The kids were def loving all of the fun. And the buffet for dinner and breakfast were pretty decent. Desserts were AMAZING! We stayed in one of the personal cabins, which was nice for space and perfect for our family. We also enjoyed s'mores in the evening. Something to note, there is not a great system for your luggage and they offer wheelbarrow type carts to haul your luggage to your room/cabin/etc. It can be quite a haul, but it wasn't a deal breaker for us, might be for some. Any items that were 'dirty' or unkempt were from people leaving things out in places, can't really be the fault of the property. I'd sum this property up as a more camp type of accommodation (which it sounds like their family camp is pretty fun). Overall, I'd stay again and would suggest it for people wanting to visit the park. The location was pretty perfect.

The property itself has seen better days and the access road to get there is pretty long- we thought it was just off the main road. The rooms and hallways were in need of an update/thorough cleaning. All that said, the employees were the nicest people we encountered! The food was plentiful and good, and the dining area/great room was warm and inviting. We didn't get to experience the grounds as we were in the national parks all day, but the lake was lovely. A great family destination, but I would recommend that they limit the hot tub to adults.

Wasn’t sure what we walking into upon arrival… lots of construction going on. BUT! This place exceeded our expectations! I felt like I was back in Girl Scout camp, only with a king bed and my own bathroom. So much to do on property. Fishing, pickle ball, basketball, ping pong, swimming and even canoeing. Places to relax and read were a highlight. If you go hungry here it’s your own fault. Made to order eggs every morning, numerous entrees for dinner. They even take allergies into account. We weren’t there for lunch each day, but they made us sack lunches to take into the parks. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Rooms were clean and rustic. Fire in the lodge a bonus on cool nights.
