The lodge was nestled in the woods and the view was beautiful. We could see deer outside our window. The rooms were clean and well maintained.
There isn’t an elevator, but we were given the choice when checking in to wait and get a room on the 1st floor. There is a little bit of a climb to get up to the rooms, but luggage assistance is available if needed. There wasn’t any air in the room but a fan in the window and a ceiling fan. But the room was cool and comfortable. There were also chairs outside the hotel area to sit in and relax and enjoy the scenery.
If going to the park, I highly recommend staying here. There were also several food options at the Lodge Pole(parking was limited at high traffic times, recommend taking the free shuttle over there), but food was great! Food was also very good at the Wuksachi Lodge. A microwave and fridge were also available in the rooms. Staff was very helpful and friendly, even when we had a minor issue one night, it was resolved very quickly.
The property was also a central location to travel during the day to see the sights.

We stayed at multiple hotels for our trip and this was the most expensive. The setting was very pretty, but the facility does not have air-conditioning in the rooms. I believe that some more expensive rooms might have it but for the most part rooms do not have air-conditioning and rely on window fans to cool down the room. We were there during a very hot point and it did get warm during the day or in the evening but once we were asleep, it did cool down in the room. It could have been a little cleaner, there was trash and scraps on the floor in the hallway outside of our room for two days that were never vacuumed up. The room was fairly basic. The dining amenities are very good. The store is very good, but as for the rooms they are pretty simple and on the more expensive side, but there are very limited places to stay in this area besides camping.
