Located in an industrial area of Brooklyn near the waterfront, the hotel is handy to cruise Pier 12 in Red Hook for ship passengers. Layout of the building is a bit strange--I had to go up a flight of stairs to reach the stairway down to the basement level where my room was. Elevator available, of course, but it was slow. Breakfast is also odd. You get a ticket to collect a bag of goodies at the lunch room in the basement. Very limited choice, but it contains a variety of tasty stuff. The neighborhood is quiet at night. I felt safe. The room was clean, the water hot in the shower, the A/C worked, and the bed was comfortable. Rather a bargain, actually, for New York. I'd stay here again.
