Arrived earlier than posted check-in time. Hotel secured our baggage until room was ready. By US standards, the room was on the smaller side, but more than adequate. The amenities included a kettle for coffee and tea. The location right on Place Messena was an added bonus, being right in the heart of the old city. Convenient for restaurants, shopping, The Promenade des Anglais, beach, trams and more.
We were in Nice for a sporting event and all the event sites were within a 10 minute walk. Couldn't have been better.
Hotel offers a breakfast in the service area pictured in the hotel's posting on Hotels.com.
Staff were very friendly and very helpful, even providing me with a congratulatory postcard for completing my event. A nice touch.
There are literally hundreds of restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. Quality and service varies from fabulous to bland, reasonable to expensive, depending on your choice. There is always another restaurant next door to try!
La Trattoria, Italian, was a favorite of ours. Book in advance if you want to eat after 7:00pm.
