Sun Palace Cancun - Adults Only - All-inclusive

This was our 3rd stay at Sun Palace. We come back because this place feels like a home away from home. The resort itself isn’t big, so if you want to stay at a big resort, this isn’t the place for you. But, if you want to stay somewhere warm, welcoming, with delicious food, and relaxing yet fun atmosphere…then you’ll love Sun Palace. My husband and I love that Sun Palace allows us to spend time as a couple, yet enjoy the social aspect of the resort. The infinity pools are the best! But the staff truly make this place spectacular!

We were looking for a quiet, adult only, pampering resort and were not disappointed! The staff, coffee, food were all amazing! I cannot say enough about the food. Love the three infinity pools.

When I go to Cancun, and I go every year during our summer, I take a 10 night trip and book 5 nights at one resort, and 5 nights at another resort. The idea is not typically to run a comparison, but rather to not get bored of the same restaurants and entertainment options since every resort tends to cycle through the same shows on a weekly basis. If you stay beyond a week, you will see the same show regardless of which resort you pick. I also try to choose one of the highest levels of room so that I don't feel like I am unable to do the same things that other guests have permissions to do. Our room came with a concierge service. Based on other reviews, I presumed that would mean that he would help with obtaining the best views at the best restaurants and/or ensure that we would have a beach bed when we wanted. Do not waste your money on the concierge service. You will still not have access to beach beds or the outer perimeter/beach facing tables at the restaurants with outdoor seating. That is strictly for the timeshare folks. Had I known, I would not have wasted my money on the honeymoon suite with concierge service. The good...the room and balcony are lovely. The food is delicious, the coffee bar is great and the drinks leave nothing to be desired. The gym is fantastic. The bad...concierge service is useless. There is no grand entrance area to this hotel. There are definitely not enough poolside lounge chairs for guests and everyone leaves a shoe on their chair as ownership
