Lovely clean guesthouse in centre of town.
Breakfast at the nearby café was delicious.
Staff were very helpful providing transport to the onsen.
Other guests noted in their reviews that the hot water wasnt working in April and its still not working 2 months later ! Very disappointing, especially as they only advised me of this issue the day after I made the full payment which was a bit suspicious as it was too late to change my booking.
Obuse is a cute town but many things including some museums are closed mid-week and many restaurants are closed for dinner as well so be careful when choosing when to visit.
