We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful, spacious 7-bedroom home in Point Cook, Melbourne. With 5 bathrooms, it was perfect for our large family of 9 adults and 6 children, giving everyone plenty of space to relax and enjoy our time together. The location was ideal, as it was conveniently close to our other family members. We really appreciated the space, comfort and convenience this home offered for our family gathering. Highly recommended for large families looking for a comfortable place to stay!
A few things that could make the stay even better for large groups would be having extra towels and blankets available, a larger kitchen rubbish bin, and more lounge seating. The living room only had two single chairs and a three/four-seater sofa, which wasn't quite enough for our group to sit together comfortably.
The water pressure was quite low when all the showers were running at the same time, which made it difficult for everyone to shower comfortably.
One thing we found inconvenient was being asked on the morning of check-in to provide ID for every adult and child before the keybox code would be released. As we had travelled by car throughout the night with our children, we didn’t have ID for everyone with us, and the booking was under my name. I would have thought that providing my ID as the lead guest would have been sufficient. Having to organise everyone’s ID after arriving in Melbourne was an unnecessary hassle, especially when we needed the code to access the property.
The other difficulty I experienced was with the booking process. I booked through Booking.com and thought I had completed everything, only to discover there were additional questions and requirements through StayAU. It would have been helpful to know this upfront, as it was a little confusing.

What a beautiful home for a large group. Comfortable beds, beautifully furnished and hosts were available to answer questions quickly. We loved our stay very much and will look forward to booking again when we return to Melbourne.
Everything was perfect. The BBQ needs a little attention but that isn't anything major. We loved our stay very much.

Many bathrooms throughout.
The morning of checkin, they requested to have copies of all guests IDs to enable checkin. With guests coming from all over the state, this caused a lot of frustration especially because the booking was made several months prior.
Stains all over carpet, looking like blood.
Provided 8 towels for 16 people.
Lack of bath mats.
