Hello and a warm welcome to Hofwies-Exklusiv!
Here, you can enjoy a wonderful Bavarian countryside vacation surrounded by breathtaking nature. Our farm with a wildlife enclosure 🦌 is idyllically located on the outskirts of the town of Miesbach—quiet, surrounded by meadows and forests 🌳, yet very close to Lake Tegernsee, Lake Schliersee 🏊♂️, and the Bavarian Alps⛰️.

Our luxurious vacation home is a place to take a deep breath, let go, and simply feel at ease—surrounded by nature yet close to everything. Here you can sit back, open a good book 📖, enjoy the fresh country air, and let your gaze wander over the natural surroundings.
And when you want to wind down at the end of the day, our little highlight awaits you: the sauna and hot tub—perfect for letting your mind wander and consciously savoring the moment.
Whether with family, close friends, or in a lively group—here you’ll experience the most wonderful time of the year in an atmosphere full of peace, comfort, and Bavarian charm.
You can reach Munich in about 4️⃣0️⃣ minutes—either comfortably by car or leisurely by train, with the station just about 2️⃣ kilometers away. That’s why our hotel is especially popular during Oktoberfest 🎡 and trade fair seasons—it’s so quick and easy to get into the city.
There’s also plenty to discover in the surrounding area: In Miesbach, you’ll find everything you need—small shops, cozy cafés ☕️, and great restaurants 🥘. And if you’re longing for the mountains 🏔️, you’ve come to the right place: Tegernsee, Schliersee, and the Alps are easily accessible by car—perfect for day trips, hikes, and unforgettable moments.
With approximately 170 square meters of living space, your vacation home 🏠 offers plenty of room to relax and feel at home.
⭐️ Free parking spaces are available right next to the house.
⭐️ Look forward to a large sun terrace with comfortable lounge furniture, a dining set, a grill area, and a Swedish hot tub (please note: this is not a jacuzzi with bubbles; it requires self-operation and is heated with wood—heating time approx. 3 hours).
Ground Floor:
⭐️ A modern, fully equipped kitchen-diner invites you to cook and enjoy your meals.
⭐️ In the living room, you’ll find a cozy dining set and a wood-burning stove for cozy evenings.
⭐️ Entertainment is provided by an UHD TV with a Blu-ray DVD player.
⭐️ A separate restroom is also available.
First Floor and Loft:
⭐️ A freestanding bathtub awaits you in the Italian-designed bathroom.
⭐️ The modern bedroom sleeps 2 people and features its own TV.
⭐️ The children’s room (including the loft) is designed for 2 children and can accommodate two additional sofa beds upon request.
⭐️ There is also a separate restroom here.
Livable basement area:
⭐️ A spacious bathroom with a walk-in shower is at your disposal.
⭐️ A stylish sleeping area for 2 people with a TV ensures restful nights.
⭐️ Your personal wellness area with a sauna, comfortable seating and lounging areas, and a tea corner invites you to relax.

A real highlight is our hot tub, 🛁 which you heat traditionally with wood 🔥. Please plan on it taking about 3 hours for the water to reach the perfect temperature. (No bubble/whirlpool function)—pure relaxation is guaranteed!

Wow. As impressive as the pictures and video are, the house is even more perfect in person. Spacious and impeccably clean is just the beginning; every detail for a seamless guest experience has been thought out, so much so that we immediately felt at home and could begin relaxing and enjoying our stay.
The house is equipped with absolutely everything you would need to cook (we cooked every night for a family of 5), as well as all of the daily supplies you need for running a household (cleansers, detergents, paper-goods, etc). Very generous and convenient. Not to mention all the extra items so generously provided: coffee, farm-fresh eggs and milk, an arrival amenity, sweet surprises mid-week, firewood for the fireplace (which we enjoyed nightly), etc. Furnishings and finishes throughout the house are high quality. You get the sense Christoph and his family have traveled a lot and have brought the elevated guest experience into this home. The level of hospitality and made-to-feel-welcome is unlike any other rental we've ever stayed in, and we have traveled extensively. Did I mention the sauna room downstairs that is equipped like a spa? Tea service station, loungers, bathrobes, slippers, included? They really have thought of every detail, it is like being at home in a luxury hotel.
Our 10-year old son was especially in love with the cows on the farm, and Georg and his wife allowed him to work alongside them, tending to the cows and the fields. Really such wonderful and open people, they are gracious hosts indeed. They made him feel incredibly special on his birthday, we were overwhelmed with their thoughtfulness.
The location of the house was perfect for us to get into Munich or to the nearby lakes, Schliersee and Tegernsee. It's also right near grocery stores (or restaurants in the village should you choose).
We would absolutely recommend this property and we would not hesitate to stay here again ourselves.

We stayed in Miesbach for one week, total of 8 people on a business trip. The location makes it very special, lost in the green land but conveniently located close to the highway, 30 mins away from downtown Munich.
Christoph’s house is a true gem, everything about the house is modern and functional. The design and the layout of the house is unbelievable.
We got spoiled with fresh eggs and milk served to our door step every morning.
Would definitely recommend this property to anyone, ideal for families and big groups.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Our family has enjoyed VRBO homes on our vacations for the past 20 years. This is the finest home we have ever rented. The home is three years old and features everything you would want. Christoph, the owner, designed the home and it is clearly a labor of love. He has thought of every detail. The house sits in the center of the family farm, which is lovely with dairy cows and chickens. Christoph provided eggs and milk, fresh from the family farm. The home is in a great location in the Bavarian Alps and close to Munich for day trips. My teenage kids loved this home. Miesbach is a charming village with great restaurants and markets. Make sure to stop at the local strawberry stand. I strongly recommend this property if you want the best in the Bavarian Alps.
