The Elephant's staff is outstandingly friendly and very supportive. They made every second of our stay comfortable and relaxing and feelling at home. Especially our driver Mr. Kann taking us to the temples in his remorque is a gem. We strongly recommend staying at the Elephant. It is in short walking district to the main areas of Siem Reap, the hotel is very quiet and well equipped and clean, food is good - afternoon tea incuded. It is wonderful to sit on the balcony of the very spacious room and look at the greenery or pool and enjoy peace and quiet of the neighborhood.
Building with character, bathroom could use an upgrade soon, but all ok. It would be good to add stool or similar for suitcase in the room.

My friends and I enjoyed 3 luxurious nights at The Elephant in the VIP suite. A 2 bedroomed suite with a kitchenette and a huge lounge.
It's clean, the beds and pillows are comfortable, and the area is quiet. The staff are friendly, helpful and speak good English. There is also free water to refill your bottles with.
Close enough to walk to the markets, pub street, cafes, and restaurants.
The swimming pool was refreshing and clean with loungers and towels available, too.
I love this place it's my 3rd stay here.

What a fantastic hotel! After a long trip we arrived in the Elephant. We rented the villa which had a pool. We enjoyed the balcony. The airco was really good. The very friendly ladies couldn't stop smiling and were more than happy to help us with everything. They brought fresh water in cans every day. They even have a private tuktuk for fee. It was of out of season so are price quality ratio was very good. I hope to come back one day
It is a 20 min walk to the city centre. But that is absolutely not a minus! When you did your homework you know this. When you don't do your homework and just read the negatives: it's a 20 min walk!
