Alles bestens

Great view from the lobby, room and the restaurant at the top. Really attentive staff and services with convenient access via WeChat before and during our stay. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were particularly helpful, explaining all the different dishes and making sure you get your fill.
Nothing.

Very nice boutique hotel. It sits right on the bank of Li River. Although the front of the hotel doesn’t look that impressive, the inside and the views are excellent. The design is a very nice mix of modern and traditional courtyard. The service is also excellent. The staffs are warm, welcoming, and efficient. The location has easy access to several viewpoints and not that far from downtown. The breakfast has excellent selections of both Chinese and western food.
The pool is nice but the sitting area near the pool is a bit small. But we were not there for the pool. So didn’t bother us.

My room at this hotel was beautiful and spacious, with great view to the calm Li river where I could see people enjoying a swim. Next to the hotel was one of the signature hills of Guilin which made the landscape particularly exciting. The breakfast at the rooftop restaurant was particularly good. It had Western choices but also an abundance of Chinese choices, which I particularly appreciated. I had the chance to try the local health soup made by grinding green tea with ginger and garlic, a discovery. I also received a beautiful farewell gift celebrating the local minority culture.
