I had a really pleasant stay at this hotel during my time in Hanoi.
The room was lovely and comfortable, with a nice little balcony that was great to step out onto and enjoy some fresh air. The bed was very comfortable, which was particularly appreciated after long days exploring Hanoi.
The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, and the room was cleaned every day, which I really appreciated. Everything was well maintained, and the daily housekeeping was excellent.
Overall, it was a nice, comfortable hotel and a pleasant place to stay while exploring Hanoi.
The only real downside was the bathroom layout. The toilet was positioned extremely close to the wall of the bathtub/shower, leaving very little room to sit comfortably or use it properly. It made things quite awkward and uncomfortable, particularly for a larger person. I've attached a photo to show exactly what I mean.
Apart from this, I really enjoyed my stay.

We stayed 6 nights in the junior room with balcony after the place I had originally booked us into turned out to be The Worst Place We Have Ever Stayed In (review to follow!) and lucked out with the hotel we got, being the Flora. Our room was one floor up overlooking the busy street. The rooms soundproofing was very good which is very important to me since I'm a light sleeper. The bed was very comfortable, biggest bed we've ever slept in, and we have an Australian king bed at home. Very clean, good bathroom, good water pressure, great.cleaning ladies, I accidentally dyed a facecloth pink and the bath after using a Lush bathbomb and they thought it very funny whew! I offered to buy the facecloth as it was really nice but they took it away. The tv doesn't cast but who watches tv in the Old Quarter anyway? Breakfast was good enough not enormous but definitely adequate. Eggs were perfectly cooked both poached and fried. Reception was fast and easy. Staff were very sweet. Husband made a joke out of beating the young guy to open the door, who's sole job it was to open said door to the point it became a running joke. At least it was for my husband lol We enjoyed our stay so much we are going back after our stay in Tam Coc for another 4 nights.

We had a wonderful stay here. The room was very clean, comfortable, and much nicer than what we normally book while traveling. Breakfast each morning was very good with lots of different options.
One of my favorite things was how helpful the staff were with transportation and trip planning. We booked several different rides through them, including transportation to Ninh Binh, airport transportation for my parents, and transportation when we left Hanoi. Everything was always arranged quickly, efficiently, and at a very reasonable price. They even arranged a private limousine service for us, which made traveling with our family so much easier.
The laundry service was also amazing. I was able to completely catch up on all of our laundry while we were there, which was such a huge help while traveling long-term with kids. The entire staff made everything very easy, and I would absolutely stay here again.
Honestly, nothing. It was more expensive than the places we usually stay while traveling, but the quality of the hotel and the level of service definitely reflected that.

We got a large room that was a combination of two rooms—this worked well for us because we were a couple with three children. The problem is that the room is on the 8th floor, there is no elevator, and you have to walk up every time. The hotel's location is excellent;
It is old property with a small, slow elevator. We stayed in a room that hadn't been renovated and didn't quite match the photos; the towels and furnishings were torn and broken. The breakfast was reasonable.
