When they say all inclusive they mean it!! Manuel the manager of AGAVE provided top-tier customer service.
I was upset not having access to the beach because its seaweed season. I spoke with management my issues were rectified.
Lastly- adult only was the key!!
I will be back!!

This place was amazing! There's really nothing "bad" to say. We watched review-videos before we went that said good things but mentioned that it was 20 years old and some things weren't as "fresh" as they would have liked. Well resorts that are brand new cost more! We felt at home and loved the place and the staff! Some things at every place need cleaning every day. And the staff at Excellence were always on top of it and getting it done! They cleaned things daily that most places might clean once a year.
The resort is great and well worth the cost! We upgraded to the excellence club and felt it was worth it for the room location, the access to all the places (especially Magna!) and just for the fact that we could relax and not worry about remembering where we can & can't go.
The only negative thing I'll say about the resort/staff is this: There are a few restaurtants or fiestas where they will try to sell you a bottle of wine. We all know how little they pay for the bottle and how much they are overcharging us for it, and I'm all for them finding extra income streams because they deserve it. But on the times we said no we felt like they were different towards us after that - but just slightly. And since it's all-inclusive, be ready for any items they do sell (gift shop, jewelry, etc.) to cost a lot! And just pay attention to what time of year you go (seaweed!!!) No one got in the ocean, but this place is so good that we didn't miss it. We did NOT want to leave!
