I liked the pools and unlimited drinks. the room was very spacious and beautiful. & housekeeping did an excellent job. The dinner portions were a bit small at the restaurants. All in all we had a wonderful time at the Riu Palace

Overall great resort. 3 different pools. One main pool for music and activities. 2 other pools for a more calm experience. Restaurants and buffet were great. Drinks and food are good. The option to attend the RIU parties at nearby Caribe was great. This is my second time at this resort and I will return again. That being said, I rarely travel and I never go to the same resort, unless my experience exceeded my expectation. Las Americas is the exception to my rule.

The resort was wonderful. The à la carte restaurants were amazing and no reservations were required but we found out you need to get there early for a spot or to be put on a waiting list. The buffet was good. Typical buffet. But the staff were amazing! Always ready to serve you a drink regardless of where you were…beach, lobby, buffet…The grounds were immaculate. The rooms are slightly outdated but that was the only negative. We also enjoyed a couple massage. Not cheap but a wonderful experience.
