Great value and lovely bakery below. Staff were extremely helpful, including carrying bags and giving umbrellas.
The stairs were a challenge but we knew this when booking.

I choseit for its location, as it was very close to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building while remaining in a quiet neighborhood. Plus, having a washing machine available in every room was a great advantage
What I didn't like is that the place was a bit gloomy and really needs a refresh. It's a pity that traditional Japanese hotel pyjamas were missing.

We have stayed at Art Hotel several times. We really like its location, the friendly atmosphere. The flats are well equipped and comfortable. There are several convenience stores around and great public transport.
The only thing I would say is that they don’t have tumble dryer, but there’s a place very close where to go if necessary

The AC works great and the bidet works great also.
The property has a cafe directly underneath. There are restaurants nearby. There is a train station nearby.
There is no elevator. Depending on your room, you may have to go up 3 flights of stairs.
There is no live person to check in, you do it on an iPad on your own and their contact method is email.
There is no smart key card, you are given a regular key to lock and unlock your room.
If you get the room with the shower, the shower is very small. The bathtub option is bigger.
There is no TV in the room. They do not clean, make the room up, or remove trash automatically. You have to schedule it via a QR code. Supposedly after the 3rd night they automatically clean the room every 2 days but I did not get that done.
