Great location for exploring Canterbury and good value for 2 nights. Very friendly staff
The toilet in my room was squashed between the bath and the towel rail making it very uncomfortable to go to the toilet. The hotel decor is a little dated and needs freshening.

Fair price for a good hotel: close enough to the city centre to walk in a reasonably short space of tine; leaving the car at the hotel. Location good for visiting relatives - main reason this hotel was chosen - & accessing further afield.
The marmalade - mediocre at best; which, I imagine, is why the Marmite ran out!

Clean and rooms decorated and fitted out to good standard. Quiet at night, beds comfortable, our family room was large and bathroom excellent. Staff all very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Food in restaurant good. Generous on-site parking to rear of hotel. Every day carvery, which attracted a lot of non-staying visitors on a Sunday. Would definitely recommend and would try to book on any future visits to Canterbury area.

Most of the staff were very welcoming and friendly. Some weren't.
The window didnt seal properly when closed, allowing the draft in & I got told it was exceptional due to bad weather.... Although I did get offered a room swap eventually, i just thought there was no need for the comment made about the window being exceptional due to bad weather. There shouldn't be gaps in windows that big that its making the room cold. Also got questioned on if I paid for drinks. Also photos look wayy better than it is.
