Excellent location and a well fitted out apartment. Really helpful hosts - nothing too much trouble. Would certainly recommend to anyone wanting to visit the old city of Carcassonne

This apartment was my favourite in France. Superb. I couldn’t rate higher and would recommend to anyone. Staying within the medieval walls was magic when all the tourists left… sunrise and sunset were spectacular. Sitting on the deck with wine and cheese made my life. Everything was comfortable, the kitchen having separate bathrooms was a bonus. Also that the bedrooms were separate ends of apartment. Amazing stay, super clean. I count have asked for more

I was excited about stating inside the castle walls
Frankly I would not stay in this apartment here again
The view is nice
The bed was comfortable
AC was good to have it didnt adjust much
Decor is nice the apartment is newly built out

I've stayed in 12 locally owned apartments in S. France on this trip all other 5 star reviews.
Ive traveled a lot & stayed inside castle walls & many other tight places with no regrets.
I'm all about location
**Stairs are insane. No handrail & tight spiral.
If you have anything other than a small backpack forget it.
**I didnt have large luggage just a duffle & small wheeled suitcase
**I didnt trust leaving my stuffing car park (& its a long walk to apartment up & down hill & over cobblestones with stuff before the entry stairs )
**Kitchen had VERY LITTLE not even 2 wine glasses, few plates & everything else you need to prep food.
No cutting board.
The few dishes & glasses were not clean
Check before using
Every night (weekdays late Sept ) loud groups were gathered talking & laughing loudly below until very late. Probably tour groups.
