The property is located in a great location right on the waterfront. You can walk to most places of interest in town or catch a microlet from out the front. Despite a main road out the front, the rooms are set back from the street and very quiet. Anthony the manager couldn’t have been more helpful. He helped me with organising a driver and giving information about getting around and answering my many questions. My stay at Hotel Esplanada was a very positive one
There could possibly be more Timorese dishes at the Hotel restaurant.

breakfast was great. Good quality fruit. Wide choice of items. Cooked eggs etc.
Noise intrusion from motorbikes first few nights.
