The spacious lobby, the staff were very good , the rooms in reception seemed very comfortable
The bathroom had mould on the ceiling and I found some old plastic paper on the bedroom floor , unfortunately it was freezing gin the room and I couldn’t get the heater to work , I arrived very late after an awful day at Gloucester royal hospital after my partner was rushed in and I had a long drive and didn’t have the energy to find out how to get the room warmed up so I slept in my tee shirt and leggings .

Lovely staff, food was delicious & room was ideal. Clean, had what you needed & quiet. The tuck shop on site was perfect for a little sweet treat!
Payment for parking is the only downside.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Check in was efficient and the food was really good (dinner, we didn't have breakfast though they have a permanent set up for this and I suspect it would also be good.) The price was fair, tea, coffee kettle and tv in room. There was a hairdryer and the room was spacious and very clean. It all looks very nice although this was pretty superficial in places. There is a death in the shower.
Things in the room felt very superficial, they have made an effort and the room looks stylish and appealing however there were a number of practical things which actually were not good so this money could have been better spent. The shower looks great but actually the water pressure isn't great, the controls are confusing and the temperature isn't consistent. The tap water pressure is also not good. The extractor fan doesn't seem to work and the switch is very difficult to reach even for my husband. The hairdryer needs you to keep your finger on a button the whole time to be used. The beds aren't that comfortable.
At dinner we weren't told there was a children's menu until we had ordered. There are two dining options but when asking which you prefer the differences weren't explained to us and the food took quite a while to arrive (it was very nice though!) They also have their own car park, but still charge for parking although u don't remember seeing this at the time of booking.
Prior to arriving they sent a total of 5 emails, 2 normal confirmation which I understand, a second informing us of the parking situation, then 2 asking if we wanted to upgrade our room for a fee. This honestly felt unnecessary. We were also only given one key card for a family room which isn't major but isn't ideal.
