I arrived at night. The hotel was lit up inside and out with Christmas tree lights. This made it easy to find and easier to park. The staff made the effort to use my name when speaking to me. It was a quiet, warm and cosy. The continental breakfast was good.
I have no complaints.

Breakfast limited for vegan on first day but fine on second. Used bus, not long to Stroud town centre.
Room quiet, bed comfortable
Uncomfortable sitting in bed due to headboard.

Staff were kind, protective and efficient.
The location of the Star Inn was beautiful, surrounded by breath taking views and scenery.
Located just above the top of Stroud with everything being a small distance or commute.
The room we stayed in wasn't great value for money and feel although we have been over priced for what we payed.
The room wasn't clean at all, and felt & looked like it hadn't had a good clean in a while... it was extremely dirty and expensive for the price we paid. We left feeling unclean, dirty and unsatisfied with our overall stay.
