We love the location, luxury and the wonderful food . Avista is our favourite place to eat and we were upgraded to eat breakfast there as well !We had an amazing room on the very top floor which had unbelievable views over Funchal bay . Room was a good size and very clean . We loved the turn down service as well . This was our third visit and we will be back again !

Excellent hotel. Lovely spacious clean rooms. Excellent bathroom. Staff were excellent.spa area looked very nice, but didn’t have chance to use it. The Avista restaurant was particularly nice.
Minor rodent issue late on in the garden area of the bar.

Great location and facilities. Staff very kind and helpful.
Pool bar closes too early….need to close after sunset as people want to swim, etc later.
