The hotel was located closed to Gion, the beds were the most comfortable we had so far in Japan - this hotel is the 5th hotel we stayed in this trip. The room size was perfect for a couple. Nice amenities. It was good to have a washing machine in the room, but our washing always had hard flaky stuff coming off the machine.
The noise. There was a lot of walking noise from the second level. It sounded like stomping. It was at all hours including at 3am in the morning and was enough to wake my husband and I repeatedly and I wear earplugs to sleep. Although the bed was comfortable, we felt like we didn’t had a restful night of sleep after big day sightseeing due to the constant noise of walking and opening and closing doors.

Perfect location, small local restaurants closed by in special Ramen and Korean bbq…
Is not well maintenance. Kitchen exhaust looks never clean, small table next to the bed was damage with strange spots…
