The staff were exceptional. I was treated with such warmth and friendliness.
The room was cosy and warm. The bed was comfortable. The bar was lively with a great atmosphere.
It is an old property so I imagine maintenance is an on-going battle. There was some black mould at the bottom of the shower that can easily be treated and water ingress by the shower door.

Kevin was the nicest, most welcoming, most flexible host imaginable and his bar staff was also lovely. The rooms were great and his pizzas are the best that I've ever had. I don't usually choose pizza but I'd make a detour for one of his. We arrived tired and hungry at about 8.30 by bicycle and he kindly kept the oven on while we went up and freshened up before cooking for us. Don't stay anywhere else!!
