The location, ample parking and beautiful large rooms that are well-equipped with most of what's needed.
No signage outside indicating where reception is. No RECEPTION sign inside either. I was shocked to discover reception is at the one side of same counter as the restaurant's bar/serving counter when I had to interrupt staff working to ask where reception is.
My only issues with my room is there was no strong lighting, making it very difficult for me to see properly. No dressing table to do make-up either.

Evening dinner food was very nice.
Staff were very helpful in the main - especially with the considerable difficulty in accessing the bedroom.
Room was dark and dingy, not at all inviting.
We appreciate it is an old building but you should make guests aware of the tortuous twists, turns and steps involved in reaching certain bedrooms so we could have asked for an alternative.
Breakfast system of choices rather disappointing.
