the beds were very soft, the staff was very friendly and able to assist us in finding our room when we came in around 1:30am. i liked the overall vibe of the hostel very much! it was nice to stay somewhere more geared towards younger travellers. the staff memeber that showed us around when we checked in was very kind too! my friend and I requested to be on the same bunk bed and they were able to accomodate that request which was also appreciated. they even offered to have us join a whatsapp chat with city tours and group outings. unfortunately we only had one full day in London and weren't able to join in, but what a cool opportunity to offer! definitely reccomend!
there wasn't really anything that stood out to me that I wish would have been different. obviously, I prefer a private room + bathroom, but that's what hotels are for! this was a great option and experience within my budget. it was definitely nicer than what my expectations held.

The staff was my favorite part of the stay! Leah was really wonderful, and even the overnight staff was great with check in - as best as he could be with the access granted. The facilities were generally clean, and the common areas were sufficient for prepping meals and relaxing.
I didn't like that the beds did not have drapes for privacy...this is why i didn't plan an extended stay here, and it was all the difference when sleeping in a room with other people. I also didn't like that there was no elevator and i think 4-5 floors. I was lucky to get the ground floor for my overnight stay. Also didn't like that the bathrooms were on the second floor. All that being said, the place was very cramped. It was hard to move around without running into people. Oh, and the beds were very uncomfortable. I am not ridiculously particular, especially when it comes to hostel beds, but this one was very much going to cause back issues if i had to sleep on that mattress for a few nights.
