It’s our first time and Ireland and first time at a bed and breakfast, and we loved it. The hospitality is amazing. We stayed 3 nights while exploring Galway and wish we could have found something close to as nice in Kilkenny on our next leg. The room is great and so is the breakfast. The hosts are attentive but give you your space. Would absolutely stay again.

The owner of the lodging George was very kind, informative and helpful. We had good breakfast for two mornings. The lodging was a walkable distance to downtown Galway and along the coastal water.George recommended two restaurants at walking distance, and the restaurant called Hooked had very tasty food and the food was reasonably affordable, so we went there for 2 nights.Hooked was very busy if one went there after 7pm and one has to wait for a free table then. The best advice is to go there earlier.
George was at the lodging most of the time. He and his family live on the same building. So it was easy to find him if one needs help or has questions.
Our room has a big bed but was a little crowded for two people. Bathroom and our room are clean. All in all, it was a great stay at this accommodation.
none.

Just so you know it’s someone’s home all you get is a small bedroom with a small ensuite. 10 minute walk to city center. The breakfast was good. The host is very helpful and knowledgeable about the city and surrounding area.
No soap provided. Have no common area except for breakfast time.
