We can't say enough wonderful things about The Stop, Russell (owner), and his staff!!!! The entire place is an artist and musician's dream---amazingly decorated with local art (Russell used to curate a gallery) and musical choices played at breakfast were fabulous. The food was delicious. We followed Russell's recommendations for local dining away from the tourist spots as well as how to fill our days exploring the Burren and Connemara. LISTEN TO THE MAN and you will have a fantastic time!!!! If back in Galway, will absolutely try to stay here again. If I could give a rating above a 10, I would!

The location in Galway's west end was wonderful. Lots of great places to eat and close to the center of Galway. Russell was fantastic! He had so many great recommendations for things. He was very accomodating and made our stay wonderful. Breakfast being included is also a nice addition.
Room size was hard for our family of 4 with the smaller bathroom. Just not a lot of places to put things in an older house. Parking is not great if you need to come and go in a larger vehicle. We stayed in the general area so was able to just park for the whole time and not move.

Fabulous location; kind, welcoming and knowledgable hosts; well thought out decor with super unique style and attention to detail; a great selection of records that changes regularly plays on a high end turntable at breakfast and throughout the day; the living room is a great place to chill when winding down before bed or throughout the day; comfortable bed/bedding; and SUPERB breakfast!
