The Inn was a sheer delight. The decor was warm and inviting, The staff were all cheerful and welcoming. The room we had was wonderful with a lovely claw foot tub. The location was perfect -- removed from the hustle and bustle of downtown but not out in the middle of nowhere so a walk into town was easy enough and lovely along the waterfront nearby
The building was older so understandably and to no fault of the owners or staff, the stairs were a bit narrow and cumbersome to manage our luggage. This was something we did expect however so really fault there, but definitely something guests should be aware and prepared for. I am sure we could have had help with our luggage had we asked however!!

The room we were given was absolutely brilliant, well equipped and exceptionally comfortable. Facilities in the room....ie beverages was totally adequate and little biccies was nice.
The food price was quite steep i have to say

Beautiful pub, room was perfect and tastefully decorated. The bed was very comfortable. Staff were very happy and the dinner/breakfast was outstanding.
The pillows were not very good. Pretty lumpy but we managed to sleep without them.

Friendliness of staff!!
The decor, seating layout, lots of natural light.
I didn't like the flies around eating, on both days.
Even at night, near closing.
Ventilation in the restaurant seating area becomes rather stuffy and overly warm.
My mate got a lot more pork bites than me, the food quality and portions sizes vary quite dramatically. Thursday's supper was splendid, Friday 3pm meal was a disappointment and questions were asked, (why do we eat there all the time). It is in a good location..
Also what I do not like is, when tipping on the final bill, ie 25% it doesn't show on the printed bill. So when you get a bank alert on your phone, the added tip isn't included, and you begin freaking out that you've been scammed somehow..
