I love how spacious the property is, tall ceilings and cosy rooms nice bathroom in old victorian building which had been decorated beautifully. Loved the touch of a loaf, milk, cereal and wine waiting for us upon arrival
The building is cold this time of year and sadly the heating wasn’t working at the time of our stay

Location, value, facilities, staff
Very unclear about dog policy, still worth the value but could be clearer. The only reason this isn’t a straight 10 out of 20

The location is excellent. Nice pool area.
The hotel is in need of modernisation. We booked last minute so had a room without a view which was a convoluted journey up and down stairs to reach. The public areas in hotel all carpeted but spacious enough. Don’t include breakfast, it isn’t pleasant, we did but after going once, we ate out for breakfast.
