The place is fantastic, they have a river that passes next to it and you can go trekking, the breakfast is very complete and delicius and the room very comfortable.

Staff friendly, breakfast and dinner were good. Location suited us perfectly. Appreciated having a place for dinner without having to drive somewhere.
We had four rooms - Unfortunately two of us were near the parking area - little noisy at times

You don’t have a lot to choose from in rural Iceland. So it’s not a 5 star resort. BUT what a gem. We were in cabin #5. Comfy Queen bed, hot shower with good water pressure. Good breakfast spread. Saw the Northern Lights.
If you keep your expectations in check, there’s really nothing wrong with this place, for us it ticked all the boxes.
