What can I say? What an exceptional auberge!! Masayo-San and Yama-San made our stay at Maki no Oto better than “a home away from home.” They provided every comfort possible—from complimentary beverages in the room to arranging dinners at fabulous restaurants. We couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you so much!!!
Having to leave.

We stayed in the Higashi room which was lovely, plenty of room for two plus bags. Large double bed with sitting room behind.
Breakfast was fabulous as was the Teppanyaki dinner at a nearby restaurant.
The owner and staff were very welcoming and we absolutely loved our stay at Maki No Oto.
Nothing. All as expected and described

Beautiful building in the heart of Kinazawa. The staff, led by Yama san were absolutely amazing. The rooms were luxurious and discos. Everything about this Ryokan lived up to expectations and then some.
