It was clean and functional, just what we needed for an overnight stop on a long journey. Enjoyed having a drink in the bar.

The room is neat and tidy. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The food is good. I asked for the use of the ironing board and iron and they brought it to my room.
The remote for the TV does not work and I had to manually change the channels on the TV itself - a bit annoying.

Nice location, oldie worldie ambiance, good food very friendly staff .. room was comfortable
The only negative was the cleanliness, quite dusty , the bathroom was damp (as portrayed on the ceiling) and the bath panels were broken

Location was close to where we needed to be
The noise of the pub kept us up until midnight
