Attractive pub with lovely bedrooms in separate quiet barn building next to pub. Nice decor lovely Superking bed and decent shower and bedroom heating. Superior room and/or family room good amount of space upstairs rooms and with sofa beds. Great dining room in cosy pub with excellent food and friendly staff.
Could do with top sheet on bed because duvet and cover don’t fit super king bed only just to edge of bed without people in bed so our bodies weren’t covered by duvet! I often pack a Superking sheet when I have room luckily because we have come across this in hotels before. Could do with another shelf in bathroom for toiletries. In dining room as there are spot lights could there be warmer bulbs on dimmer switches as it is brash spotlight for dining.

The room was clean and tidy. The food was good both dinner and breakfast, and generally the pub was nice.
Need a bit more direction at check-in. Better lighting in the Barn (where the rooms are) entrance hall and stairs needed, it was too dim and the stairs were noisy when guests came back. Fittings in the bathroom need upgrading, fine but cheap and won't last I suspect, cheap plastic loo seat type etc. Don't sit in the main dinning room if you want to hear the person opposite, and the door is open so cold breeze. Much better in the original pub which is more what you expect. Breakfast was good but on a Saturday at 08.30 is a bit to late if you have morning plans, again its in the outside marquee area rather than the cozy pub. Good marketing photos which looks cozy but really isn't unless in the pub bar area and at the price could do better with a little more effort.
