Very convenient as right in town.
Parking very easy to find near the property.
Room on top floor, nice spacious accommodation, the bathroom was very spacious, shower very good and everything very clean.
Everything we needed for a night’s stay with tea and coffee making facilities provided.
A nice kitchenette downstairs with a table and chairs if needed.
There was a little bit of headroom lost on one side of the room but as we knew our room was on the top floor this was to be expected.

Excellent location in the centre of Castle Cary. The room was very spacious, thoughtfully equipped (mirrors in logical places, we liked the kettle/tea and coffee station, excellent tv able to access all subscriptions, very comfy bed, good toiletries provided) and clean. Kitchen area was a nice surprise with a good-sized fridge, microwave and crockery to use.

The shampoo & body wash were in refilled bottle but weren’t working.

Basically a posh hostel: You get a large and very beautifully appointed room and bathroom. Downstairs there is a very small kitchen area with table / 4 chairs and limited facilities. We were "upgraded": from top floor to middle.
Don't think the owners understand what most people need and / or have ever experienced staying here; otherwise they would realise some of its shortcomings. Most are easily fixable.
1. The building overall and bedroom/bathroom were very cold on entry - with signs saying not to change the heating settings. Contacted Leanne and was told to turn the radiators up in the bedroom - the thermostats on them were in the OFF position. In the morning the heating came on for about an hour only - thankfully we were up early to get the benefit of it.
2. Despite the room being spacious, absolutely no surface/space for a laptop for working; only the small table in the communal kitchen area downstairs: This is no good for someone needing to work.
3. No cooking facilities (cooking is not allowed), except a small microwave inside the cupboard downstairs for heating things up: the response to a colleague who had stayed before was that there are plenty of places to eat locally. Not on a Monday and not if you have specific dietary needs.
4. Tiny fridge in the kitchen - OK for milk etc, but not much else. If 3 rooms were all let at the same time, this could well be a problem.
5. The "garden" is a wilderness - doesn't look at all like the photo.
6. No bin in the bedroom - (trivial but they cost nothing to provide).
