The period property is in a lovely, quiet location. The apartment was very spacious with a separate living area, bedroom and bathroom. The evening meal was excellent, and Wes and Willow were really friendly. Great value for money, free parking, and dog-friendly too.
The apartment was very hot when we first arrived, although it improved once the fans were on and the windows were opened. The continental breakfast was quite basic.

Quiet location, lovely small beer garden, with fist rate meals, well decorated and appointed room. Staff were very accommodation holding our luggage on the day of check out, whilst we explored the town.
Just one small point which was raised on check out, for a self catering room, insufficient cutlery for tow people and a tea towel to dry up cups etc. would have been beneficial, otherwise excellent stay

We stayed here two years ago and couldn't fault it, hence why we wanted to come back. When booking it states that breakfast is included and we were expecting a cooked breakfast not a poor breakfast in the room which was unsatisfactory and we went and bought our own breakfast. The room had been cleaned on our second day but for some reason the bed hadn't been made which is really bizarre as you would expect this being a paying guest. There were no extra nice touches like tissues, hand lotion no where to put your toothbrush and there was a dirty trolley put in the bathroom. Dinner was OK but on both evenings there was only red meat on offer no chicken or turkey as a healthier option. Again when we stayed here two years ago the food was amazing especially for a small pub.
