Breakfast - excellent. Cleanliness - excellent. Location for Hauteville House - Ideal. There was a pleasant park close by which was nice to walk in in the morning. Staff were very friendly and we could chat with them. They were very accomadating w.r.t. leaving bags there after check pit so we could enjoy the town before returning home.
Low ceiling. I knocked my head very hard on the low ceiling in the bedroom. My fault. But as a fairly tall man I was stooping a lot to avoid repeating the injury which a month later has still not fully mended.
Position - very convenient for everything, however it required a walk up a steep hill to get to the hotel I looked for a taxi when my wife was tired on a couple of occasions but there were never any in town to be fouind.
