This was my second stay at The Owls and enjoyed it just as much. Very comfortable bed and room, warm and cosy.
Breakfast was excellent - a good way to start a day of walking. Ian and Jo are very welcoming and I look forward to returning again in the future.

The room was clean, warm and comfortable, nice toiletries in the bathroom and a lovely hot shower. Comfortable bed and good tea and coffee facilities. I mentioned I'm vegan when I booked and a flask of oat milk and a vegan cereal bar were left on my tea tray which I thought was a nice touch. Guest House is centrally placed for shops and pubs, also just a few minutes walk from bus stops. Delicious home made granola available for breakfast and a good selection of other breakfast items.

Old, interesting building, with welcoming, helpful hosts. Private but separate bathroom, but considering the age and historic interest of the building, acceptable. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
Maybe lighting on stairs could be brighter.

Location was perfect with good parking
The bedroom was very small and the only window was frosted and that was in the bathroom, picture on the wall was of a pet grave, on the breakfast menu it states that all meat is butchered and slaughtered locally, something like that should not appear on a menu. Locally sourced would suffice.
