Staff were very friendly. The pub was great, full of character and clean. The rooms were spotless and the bed was comfortable. Our evening meal was very nice and served hot.
There wasn't anything we didn't like.
Rather, an observation only, that the winding stairs would be difficult for a person with mobility issues to navigate to get to the accommodation. But this was known prior to the booking also.

The perfect place for a few days R&R.

The location is excellent, the pub itself is lovely, staff nice and it was really quiet at night. I would definitely stay again, but next time I’d book a double room!
The single room was extremely small and dark. I also have a huge fear of spiders and unfortunately there were at least three in the room when I arrived, with a few more appearing the following day. Obviously spiders aren’t the hotel’s fault, but there were quite a lot of cobwebs around the room which could have done with being cleared.
