The location is perfect and the staff were most helpful and attentive. Despite being in a town centre and above a pub bar the room proved to be quiet and peaceful. The room was maybe in in need of a little tlc but it was warm, comfortable and welcoming.
Access to the rooms is via a steepish stairway which could be difficult for anyone with mobility problems. A little more storage space and attention to detail by cleaning staff would be helpful.

Delightful, charming and very friendly accommodation. Staff were amazing, room super comfortable and the pub itself was a real “old England” treat.
Needs a tiny bit more attention to dusting in the room and a little proactive maintenance of the shower. But - I must stress - these are the most minor of problems.

The location is perfect, easy walking distance to Blenheim Palace. The staff were lovely and helpful.

We stayed at the Woodstock Arms last year and were very keen to return. It's a great location but the parking was very complicated and nobody seemed able to tell us exactly how it worked. The room was in the eves and it was so hot. They provided a fan and I understand that the UK was experiencing a heatwave but it was a little difficult to sleep.
However, it is a lovely traditional English Pub feel.
Our evening meal was very disappointing. I asked for my fish to be filleted and they said it wasn't possible, nor was it possible to omit cream from a Moules Mariner sauce. We asked to speak to the Manager and the Sous Chef spoke to us and said that yes, it was possible. However, they filleted the fish first, then cooked it which meant it was very dry.
There is very little light in the upstairs landing and as the stairs are old and narrow it is quite dangerous.
