The location, the staff, the breakfast & being able to be on the ground level..
The bathroom was also lovely as long as you didn’t look down the loo 😵💫 Great shower.
The room was not just tired, but grubby, the vacuuming didn’t go to the skirting boards & I have never seen such a disgusting toilet bowl in a hotel before, it looked like it hadn’t been scrubbed, descaled & bleached in a very long time.
The layout of the room was all wrong, the beds should be either side of the fireplace, it would still allow room for a wheelchair & other disability movement. As a couple we felt very disconnected in that room
I appreciate that not having disabilities, it can be quite hard understanding was would be required, to feel more comfortable, but with a good clean up & rearranging, it could be a pleasant room. I would suggest replacing one of the chairs in the room for an armchair, because disabilities vary & I personally couldn’t get comfortable in the dining style chair!

Bed was comfortable
Stains in the carpets, the shower temperature wasnt easy to keep hot and there was a gap at the bottom of door that let outside light into the room.
